Courtney Whitcher

Hospital Administrator

Courtney began her career with veterinary clinics when she joined the staff at Bartow Animal Hospital in 1996. She graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2002 having earned a business degree. She is married and has one daughter.

Cathy Lagneaux

Human Resources and Accounting Assistant

Cathy has worked in the veterinary industry since 1990. She joined Lake City Animal Hospital in 2003 as a receptionist.

Cathy and her family have been fostering cats and kittens for a rescue group for several years. In addition to fostering, she has three cats, and just recently adopted another kitten and a boxer puppy. Cathy enjoys spending time with her family and reading.

Ashley O'Brien

Administrative Assistant

Ashley has worked in the veterinary field since 2001, and she is an asset to the Lake City Animal Hospital team. She and her husband are the proud parents of a beautiful girl. They also have four fur babies that they adore.

Alicia Updyke

Lead Receptionist

Alicia will check you in, answer questions, and help nervous pet parents feel at ease when they come to Bartow Animal Hospital. A pet lover herself, she is the proud owner of three pitbulls at home.

Londyn Lord

Londyn started working at Bartow Animal Hospital in February of 2021 as a Receptionist. Londyn is attending Georgia Highlands College, studying a major in early childhood education. Londyn enjoys working with kids and animals. She has one dog, the bestest boy Benny, who she spends her free time with.

Lexi Ellison

Lexi was born and raised in Cartersville, GA, and started at BAH in May of 2019. She graduated from Cass High School in 2020, and is currently attending Georgia Highlands College to pursue a degree in Business Administration. She has 5 fur babies who she loves dearly, 3 Boxers, 1 Pitbull, and 1 Husky.

Mandi Copeland

Mandi joined the front desk staff at Acworth Animal Hospital in August of 2014 before moving to Bartow Animal Hospital in 2016. She is a 2003 graduate of Georgia Northwestern Technical College. She has three children, one dog and one cat.

Carlos Lucas

Carlos is a graduate from Cass High School. He has always been an animal lover so he found this hospital would be a good fit for his interests and it helps him put his bilingual abilities to use. One day, he hopes to be a professional fútbol player but right now he is enjoying playing with puppies.

Maggie Paulk

Maggie is from Cartersville, GA and is a student at the University of Georgia where she is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in cognitive science with a minor in Spanish. Maggie has been at Bartow since 2018 where she started as a kennel assistant before moving to reception. She has a huge heart for animals and has 2 feisty cats - Blu and Delta - named after the velociraptors from Jurassic World. She also has a dog named Husqy.

Ariel Pelligrini

Ariel is one of the first smiling faces you’ll see at Bartow Animal Hospital. She loves being around animals and the opportunity to help the pets and their owners who visit us. Ariel has one dog, Sophie, who is the office dog, and one cat.

Katie Quick

Katie is a graduate of Jacksonville State University and received her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. She is a practicing Real Estate agent in Georgia (LIC with Professional Realty Group). Katie is a lover of animals and owns a mastiff named Maggie, who is her fur baby. She loves to be outdoors and says that fall is her favorite season.

Abby Scalf

Abby began working with Bartow Animal Hospital in 2019. In her free time she loves going hiking with her dog, Malibu and rescuing animals of every kind. Abby also loves spending time with her chickens and duck.

Jillian Witt

Jillian is a native of Cartersville, Georgia. She attended Rockmart high school and is currently enrolled at Georgia Highland where she studies Dental hygiene. Jillian joined Bartow Animal Hospital in June of 2016 as a Kennel Assistant; she was quickly promoted to reception due to her phenomenal personality and people skills.

Megan Wynn

Megan joined Bartow Animal Hospital in 2018. She is currently a nursing student at Georgia Highlands College. Megan has a daughter named Elizabeth, and a black labrador retriever named Ellie.
